A group of women gymnasts, including four-time Olympic champion Simone Biles, are suing the FBI for more than $1 billion for its failure to stop U.S. women’s team doctor Larry Nassar from sexually abusing them.
Don’t forget handling the Nakatomi Plaza hostage crisis.
Why not 10 billion or a 100 billion I mean really stick it to the taxpayers
That is my feeling.
If it could be taken from the pensions of those involved, I would be 100% on board.
If it would sully the reputation of the FBI and expose them, I would be on board.
But as it is, if they win, they will get my money. Taxpayer money. Nobody will be punished. Nobody will be fired. It will all wash right down a memory hole and not even be reported by the media, so their reputation won’t even be soiled.
Come on now, whats next, are you going to ask the FBI for the pictures back that Nassar was sending them weekly
Wasn’t Biles the one who choked in the last Olympics?
huh? what?
what the hell does the FBI have to do with it?
Good point.
Good point.
From what I’ve learned Nassar wasn’t the only person abusing those girls.

I believe one of the agents was trying to get a job with the gymnastics team
How much should we sue them for their activities preceding the 2020 election?
The FBI is totally within their rights to sit in their offices and watch porno all day.
Good luck convincing a judge otherwise.
;-)
Oh good, more people dipping into our almost empty pockets.
Disband the FBI, everything they touch is destroyed
For that matter, why hasn’t Trump filed a lawsuit against the FBI for spying on his campaign and falsely accusing him of Russian Collusion?
I don’t have a clue how the FBI factors into this, but if it shuts down the FBI thugs, more power to them.
“No duty to protect...”
“Sovereign immunity...”
“Did not exhaust administrative remedies...”
The judge can take their pick on the reason to dismiss.
Not sure how the fbi is culpable.
Even if they could have, which I doubt, scotus has already ruled multiple times that law enforcement has no duty to protect any individual from harm.
This is so unfair. The good FBI agents that Hannity talks about were on this one case.
No.
Its not like the agents will personally pay this. If only they were personally liable and their pensions and homes and investments would be on the block, it would be different.
Instead you are cheering for all the taxpayers to pay if they would lose.
Further there is no duty of any law enforcement officer to protect any particular individual. Scotus has ruled this a number of times.
IIRC, the FBI was called in to investigate multiple accusations and dropped the ball. If the FBI had done its job, no additional gymnasts would have been molested by the evil doctor.
