ALBANY - Add your health insurance premiums to the long list of necessities that are going to get harder to pay for amid rampant inflation, the pandemic and war in Ukraine.
Heath insurers serving individuals and companies in the state are requesting increases as high as 30 percent in some cases, although the weighted average is 18.7 percent for individuals and 16.5 percent for the so-called small group employer market that includes companies under 100 people.

We abandoned health insurance on the day that the individual mandate became the law. We’re now 68. The amount of money we saved and are still saving is a ridiculous six figures. We have put complete faith in the Great Healer. We also have taken responsibility for our own health. We do take ForLife suplements daily and avoid “junk” foods like the plague. And maintining our own little garden of Eden keeps us busy.
We’ve been opted out of our culture’s health care paradigm for so long that to jump back in would represent a huge lack of faith in our creator. I simply can’t do it.
Oh, and we do have Medicare “A” (which is pretty much useless) because it simply comes with SS whether you want it or not.
They don’t want a healthcare solution just like they don’t want election integrity solutions just like they don’t want border/immigration solutions just like they don’t want school safety solutions....
this is by intent. The covid shots are intended to make more people sick, more people die, so that insurance costs and rates increase to cover the expenses. More and more people are going to demand the government do something to fix it- nationalize healthcare being the goal. This has all been a communism take-over plan.
health care is such a racket.
trying to get an MRI approved can be difficult. When I made the decision to say screw it I am going to pay for it anyway my cost would be far more than what was contracted with my insurer.
Now I am just going to have to try an appeal first.
Exactly, the Dems ruin it and then say they'll fix it with government healthcare.
A trillion dollar one that nobody wants to actually fix due to the political donations, lobbying, etc.
But, but, but what about Obamacare that was going to save families $2500 each year?
Abd I have 3 letters for anyone who thinks that will turn out well: NHS.
If you like your doctor, too bad, you can't keep your doctor.
The intended result of destroying ignorant, naive people’s immune system.
Paying for all the bums on cadillac medicAID.
