Excerpt:

“DES MOINES, Iowa —
The Iowa Supreme Court issued a highly anticipated abortion ruling Friday.

The court made it easier for lawmakers to limit or outlaw abortion in the state, reversing a decision by the court four years ago that guaranteed the right to abortion under the Iowa Constitution.

That decision involves a law requiring women to wait 24 hours before getting an abortion. The 2020 waiting period law was overturned due to an Iowa Supreme Court ruling in 2018.

The court concluded Friday that the 2018 decision was wrongly decided and should be overturned.”

It actually isn’t protected by the national constitution either until the Warren Court decided to invent that right in 1973.

I hope the Florida Supreme Court reaches the same conclusion in response to challenges to Desantis’s new abortion restrictions.

Abbot and DeSantis are flashier, but Kim Reynolds is quietly shoring things up in Iowa.
We call her the Ice Queen, because once she makes a move, it is locked in like a frozen barge on the Mississippi.

Next up, the FJB administration seeks to protect woman’s rights through an executive order mandating the wearing of oversized bonnets by all cis/trans women.

After noticing polling results and an increase in online criticism of his regime, FJB is also working on an executive order criminalizing “talking back” by all cis/trans women.

Stare decisis fails in Iowa. More fails needed before our legal system here is fixed.
