I bought my first Electric bicycle.

it is a tank known as a radrover4

I pretty much dislike it, and it does not go on any bike rack,

but I got it cheap and now I know what I need if I choose to go forward with the bike thing

And how long will it take to cover the USA in railroad tracks for those trains to run on? There are still railroad beds in some areas that have been turned into hiking trails but numerous others have been plowed away.

President Joe Biden on Wednesday again promoted his infrastructure dreams of taking people out of their gas-powered vehicles and putting them on trains and other forms of public transit.

The guy is an idiot. Does he think someone in Yuma can commute on a bus to Phoenix for a drs appointment?

That works fine for the I-95 corridor liberals not so good for flyover country where cities are 3-4 hours apart.

They think they are superior to us because they fly around on private jets and perceive us as subhuman ants 35,000 feet below their feet.

Be a shame if their private jets suddenly started falling from the sky with them inside.

“Biden has a deep love for trains ...”

I guess he likes to get them in the shower.

Most Useless President ever since they invented presidents.

As we say here in Iowa, worthless as tits on a boar. Although, the Woke say men can get pregnant so maybe we can’t say that anymore.

I don’t EVER go to Washington. Trains don’t go where I want to go. Trains don’t go when I want to go. Trains don’t go at a price that is justified by there 19th century mode of travel. Brandon, go away you creepy, brain-dead, corrupt, corpse.

Freedom includes freedom of movement. That is what a gasoline powered car provides. I celebrate this freedom and resist the attempt to take it from me.

Aint no trains close to me. Guess we should get up and walk 5 miles to a city bus station and take it to the train. They don’t take a train. They have a driver. It’s sickening what they are doing.

Trains and mass transit are already unaffordable - incoming revenues don’t over the cost of the operations.

He’d be better off launching a 10 million bicycles (electric?) to replace 1 million cars ... the lefties living in cities would love it so they get another free handout and don’t have to drive their mini-Coopers in the city to avoid the graffiti covered, urine odored, criminal infested public transit that they demand everyone else ride ... except he ... um ... Xiden is not the best promoter of biking ...

..... If you listen closely to the Administrations responses to the Gas prices skyrocketing ...... You will realize that This administration has no intention of returning back to the era of Fossil Fuel ...

..... It won't be very long before people will, out of financial necessity, be forced to abandon their petroleum powered vehicles and the only mode of transportation will be mass transit .... Which will not be capable to handle the masses. We are facing total Global Chaos and Confusion .... All because of this new Fantasy Utopian Great Reset Movement that these Idiots have signed onto ....

North America's first transcontinental railroad (known originally as the "Pacific Railroad" and later as the "Overland Route") was a 1,911-mile (3,075 km) continuous railroad line constructed between 1863 and 1869 that connected the existing eastern U.S. rail network at Council Bluffs, Iowa with the Pacific coast at the Oakland Long Wharf on San Francisco Bay.

That took 6 years!

California High-Speed Rail (CAHSR or CHSR) is a publicly-funded high-speed rail system under construction in the California. Its goal is to connect the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center in Anaheim and Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles with the Salesforce Transit Center in San Francisco via the Central Valley, a distance of 380 miles (610 km).

Despite 14 years of work and about $5bn spent, the 2008 promise of quick transport between Los Angeles and San Francisco has not materialized.

What’s your plan Joe?

We cannot move to rail even if we wanted to. That opportunity sailed after W.W. II when we made the commitment to air travel.

To upgrade our rail system for high speed, etc., would cost Trillions of Dollars we don’t have and will not have. That $100 Billion is a drop in the ocean of what it would cost. Hell they can’t even covert the North East corridor into high speed rail where it makes sense to do so or run high speed rail to Key West Florida and points in-between and that would make sense. It’s a Big Pipe Dream that will never happen. We are not Europe, China or Japan.
