Interesting development. He uses his charity to fund private costs

Andrew must love this news item

So will the scandal cause parliament to reject him as King...probably not

“only thing we could do was to count the money and make a mutual record of what we’d done,” the source said. “And then call the bank.”

First world oligarch problems...

So he wasn’t so much pro-islam on a ridiculous and embarassing way for the future king of Anglicanism, he is just more...using british speak...”favorable to the green”.

I think I just sounded ridiculous and embarassing!

I wonder if the BRITs will take this opportunity to lecture Americans about corruption.

So the son of the ruler accepts big bags of cash from foreigners interested in buying favors. It must be awful to live in a banana Republic like that.

These global elites are completely above the law. But what a sad fate that awaits them on Judgment Day.

He took the money for himself, or as a bag man for his Mum?

“Bags of money.” In this day and age, why not a digital bank transfer? (serious question)

In an age when you can transfer billions of dollars with the click of a mouse, this seems unlikely. Logistically, it’s hard to handle cash, and when you show up in another country it raises eyebrows. Then there’s how do you take to the bank? There were stories during the Cocaine Cowboy era of people buying luxury cars with suitcases of cash or having bank employees ferry it from the trunk of your car on the street into the bank. Then there’s the problem of counting. How do you know the promised X thousand dollars are actually there unless you count it? And, at the bank, what’s to stop an employee from slipping a few grand into his pocket? While I suppose it’s possible, is it likely?

Every major politician has a “bag man” to handle this, so they are not connected to the transaction, never touch the money, and have plausible deniability.

In these days of electronic transactions and wire transfers why would anyone accept sacks of actual cash? Is the Post actually that stupid?
