He was going along with what his “experts” were telling him. It was early in the process and like everyone else his information was suspect at best. I gave him the benefit of the doubt.

I think he’s still got to get his head right about it. I don’t think he can.
Fauci betrayed him and he seems unable to admit it. I think Trump may also be incapable of accepting a position that cannot stand up in court. Even if Rand Paul, or someone knowledgeable, could explain to him what happened, he would deny it if definitive proof did not exist. It may be a great way to build a building, but the world is more complex than that.

He supported the research that created the virus in the first place.
Then, Fauci had everyone running in circles.
Fauci needs to be the subject of a public hanging, IMO.

That is my take, as well. The development of this virus/vaccine/testing triple-shot took years.
Trump is nothing, if not personality. I don’t think he’s got it in him to stick a knife in someone, even if the situation calls for it. He may also be incapable of admitting he was duped. Look how vociferously he calls out the fraud of the 2020 election, but is silent about Fauci’s fraud and deceit.

I really liked this line: “...these next few years our country is going to decide if we’re going to allow a corrupted and radical ruling class to snuff out this incredible torch of liberty, or whether we resist the forces of decline and raise that torch higher and prouder than ever before to enlighten and inspire the entire world.” As for the next presidential election, Trump for a well deserved second term (Biden’s a sick joke) and DeSantis as Veep to prepare for his two terms. There’s my two cents. Take ‘em or leave ‘em.
I really hope Trump pushes for the repeal of the 17th Amendment and elimination of the senior executive service.
I saw Trump yesterday in Tampa. Great bunch of young people.
