Man's contribution to that number is .05%, the remainng 95& comes from nature.....

Man's contribution is such an insignificant number that it's not even worthy of discussion.

In the late 90s we had one cold winter and I told my daughter they must be measuring temps by the exhaust of an idling fire truck because my outdoor thermometer was 4 degrees colder.. every morning. Of course after the weather channel faked hurricane coverage who knows.
This summer, is hot like my childhood hot.

Although the statistics weren't stated, the same message was said nearly 20 years ago. I believe a high school student had done some study and found a lot of the temperature stations - which had originally been placed in sparsely inhabited areas - were now located in asphalt (heat absorbing) islands. And other temperature stations were now located underneath an air conditioner exhaust (as the air conditioners hadn't been there when the temperature station was originally installed).

'Follow the science', but when the data is cooked (intentionally) - what is the point?
I'm glad someone has performed an actual study on this problem. Not that I expect to see it reported elsewhere. The West's 'leaders' are dead set in destroying our economy by pushing this Global Warming hysteria. It is just their tool to increase their power and turn the people into their chattel.

The station in our small town is at the airport near the fuel tank in the middle of a whole lot of hot concrete.

The one I watch is private nearby out in the country and it is just about as hot.

It was published in the news in the 1980s that the city of Phoenix was relocating its official thermometer so that it could boast that it (not Tucson) was the hottest city in Arizona.

I used to work for a company that manufactured and installed flight information systems at airports. I observed the relocation of those sensor housings from proper locations to hot zones at several airports. My colleagues observed the same thing at additional airports.

This occurred in the 1989-1991 time frame.
