It’s called wishful thinking.... and the NATO press just plugs words into Putins mouth. Why they think Russia is interested in... Lviv or anything in the Western parts is puzzling. I expected them to seize Kiev, but that hasn’t happened either.. in fact exactly what the Rus state has said it wants to do is happening. They have recently expressed interest in creating a land bridge from the Crimea East to the Luhansk and Donetsk provinces, and thats the only NEW territory that wasn’t initially included. Compared to other special ops and interventionist wars, this intervention has been light on civilian casualties.. perhaps why the progress has been slow and deliberate... as they’re not trying to kill the civilians who are all russian speaking.
