Spiteful and vicious, as usual, and they sure hate Giuliani. Atlanta actually is quite far from NYC, almost 900 miles and a 14+ hour drive if you do it straight through.
This certainly could not be good for a recent heart patient either, but what really got me was the cruel, sneering tone of the judge.

But on Tuesday, a judge Democrat stooge in Fulton County, Ga., said that Mr. Giuliani, who had two coronary heart stents implanted in early July, could travel from New York to Atlanta some other way, and tentatively ordered him to show up to deliver in-person testimony on Aug. 17. fixed it.

“coronary heart stents “
Use of “heart” is superfluous.

True, not great.
But honestly, getting on a train isn’t that stressful. Biggest trouble would be DC itself and the likely transfer - but that’s basically all on the same platform.

Tell them that you are not well enough to travel and leave it at that. Anything more then FO.

Agreed. A 78yo man with recent heart surgery. Would not a zoom appearance do? Not, of course, that there should be any court proceedings for him at all.

So the judge is picking up the cost of a new luxury custom bus like John Madden had?

I’d tell them I’ll bike, then I’d say, my bike got a flat tire, and the local bike doesn’t have it in stock so it will be in, in about 3 years.🤣

Giuliani should politely tell them to go f**k themselves. That's exactly what any NY democrat would tell a southern judge if they were ordered to appear and nothing would be done about it. Giuliani should do no different.
It's long past time that republicans grew a set and started telling these democrat thugs NO.
