Florida has moved to prohibit transgender residents from using Medicaid to pay for gender-affirming care.

The big picture: Florida joined at least 10 other states — including Texas, Arizona and Missouri— in barring residents from using Medicaid to pay for the medications and surgeries prescribed to those with gender dysphoria, the Washington Post reports.

These medical treatments often include hormone therapy and puberty blockers.

Why should our taxes pay for this garbage via Medicaid. They can go use their EBT cards to buy these puberty blockers, if they are so crazy.

Lots of evil Docs are making millions promoting this Trans rubbish.

I’m sure this action, is a crime against humanity, for the liberals and LGBT etc peoples. I can hear it now , that people have a constitutional right to this “gender affirming care”.

Good. No celebration of what should be the status quo.

A few signs of sanity in an otherwise very confused country.

GREAT NEWS.

Other Medicare persons should not have their benefits cut for this complete nonsense.

Absol-damn-lutely.

BTW, Rand Paul’s questioning of “Dr Levine” was one of the most sickening things I’ve ever seen.

The science of it is that these things while hastening the physical changes of so called “gender transition” (gender mutilation) early pr-teen and teen treatments make the long term “physical transition” results less successful as far as any life of sexual relations. The process defeats the normal physical maturation process and leavs in place immature developments, both physical and heurological. Those immature statuses in body tissue and neurology harm the success of final “transition” “surgery” (mutiliation).

So why is the “trams” agenda insisting on the use of these treatments? It’s “trans” promotion that does not really care about the science or the lives of those they are claiming to help. They also know that getting someone into the “trans” proceess can make it more difficult to back their way out of it even when misgivings about it develop. How do they know that? They know that from their own experience.

Hey! I would like a tummy tuck! Please taxpayers, pay for it. NOT! Getting you pee-pee or breasts cut off because you feel like the opposite gender is actually elective surgery. I can’t get Medicare to pay for a tummy tuck (I feel like I’d like to look thinner and if I don’t I will have a mental episode!) because it is considered elective. Why should those that feel like they want to be another gender be treated differently? No one is saying they can’t change genders if they want...they just have to pay for it themselves. Fair is fair.

Hallelujah! UK, Sweden, Finland, and other countries have determined these “gender” switching children need psychological assessment, before starting hormones or undergoing “gender affirming” surgery. Plus, puberty blockers are bad for you.
I pray DeSantis allows those children to sue doctors and clinics for attacking their bodies. They’re definitely coming bout to be known.
