Why is it that so many humans don’t understand that wild animals are just what the name says, and if the animal acts wild, some idiots start screaming that it should be exterminated-which is the height of ignorance.
But no matter whether they run, swim or fly, how pretty, friendly looking or charming they are-no matter how well-trained, they are not trustworthy as companion animals-more than one professional trainer/handler has lost their life or been seriously injured by an animal they thought they knew-captive tigers, lions, bears, Elephants, even ostriches etc-and at least one captive orca. They are not called killer whales without a reason, and like the bears, lions, etc they are best admired from the other side of a fence/in a vehicle in their natural places or in wildlife sanctuaries-they have their place in the natural order of things, and it isn’t to amuse us by becoming pets...

I listened to a few videos of these Killer Whales attacking sailboats - that showed the damage to the boats after making land.
But they’re “mostly peaceful.”
