“Federal agents should not be given carte blanche to root around in Rep. Perry’s phone data looking for evidence that they hope might further their investigation,” his attorneys wrote in a lawsuit.
U.S. Rep. Scott Perry is seeking to block the Justice Department from accessing the contents of his cell phone as officials continue to investigate his involvement in former President Donald Trump’s efforts to stay in power after losing the 2020 election.
FBI agents seized the York County Republican’s phone on Aug. 9 under a court-authorized search warrant. But investigators have not yet been authorized to access any of the material on it, Perry’s attorneys said in a lawsuit filed in federal court in Washington.
The suit asks the court to bar agents from reviewing any data until disputes can be worked out over how much of it should be deemed confidential.

You are probably right. I am very concerned. I wrote Perry the night of the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago. I called for the shuttering of the FBI. The next day the FBI illegally confiscated Perry’s phone. Perry has since said that constituent information was on his phone.
It’s nice that Perry can afford to sue. Most Americans cannot. I just sent an email to Perry stating that.
Yeah, right. You try that in front of your family and see what it buys you. Your comment is ludicrous. Perry is one of the best congressmen we have. He is consistently #1 in American Conservative Union rankings. He is a retired US Army General. He is the chairman of the House freedom caucus. And you sit in your mommy’s basement in your underwear criticizing him.

These "officials" continue to pretend that the 2020 election was legitimate.
They have to know better in face of the growing volume of information showing massive fraud.
They must be doing it for show and to satisfy their communist masters.
