Democratic National Committee adviser Cedric Richmond argued Thursday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” that President Joe Biden canceling student debt was about “bringing this country together.”
Richmond said, “We as a country tell people all the time, education is the best way to lift yourself out of poverty. Then the cost of education is so high that it bars so many people from getting there. Then when they get it, we say that home ownership is the best way to transfer wealth from generation to generation, but they can’t, in fact, buy homes because they’re saddled with student loan debt. And so what we’re doing here is empowering people to continue to get that education, lift themselves out of poverty, free up money so that they can buy into the American dream of home ownership and have something to pass along. Those homes will need plumbers and contractors and all of those things. So, what the President always says is America is not a zero-sum game. Someone doesn’t have to do bad for someone to do good, and that’s what the President is delivering on.”

It was about those insider Democrats who knew how to beat the deluge of internet application process GOT AHEAD of the peon rabble.
I don’t care who it brings together, it’s not legal! I can’t wait to see what happens when the government demands it back.
Some adviser ,LOL
More polarizing than uniting…

They did extensive polling and came up with what the consultants predicted would net the most votes.
We’ll find out in November 2022 and Nov 2024.
This has been in the planning stages since 2007.
I had family members who told me about it.
It was very common knowledge in Democrat circles.
This is why so many college students went into activist work.
Free education and lucrative Non Profit income.
Yes people who paid their way through college or paid off their loans are going to really fell united with the deadbeats.
And while $10,000 is a lot of money when you multiply by the number of deadbeats who will make a claim, it is not the kind of money that ‘lifts people out of poverty’.
If the IRS sends 1099’s to people citing imputed income for the debt “forgiveness” the screaming will be epic.
It’s basically buying votes with other peoples’ money, which in the real world is called fraud.
This accomplishes no such thing.
It doesn’t apply to private bank loans.
It forces working people to pay for some a**wipes degree in 14th Century French Art.
It’s entirely unfair to those who worked and paid for their own education.
It’s unconstitutional.
It sets a precedent for future college loans.
I’m preaching to the choir here but given a minute, I’m sure I could come up with more.
They can do NOTHING well.
They are worse than bad news bears.
I am supposed to love these people and pray for them.
Sorry.. I dislike you to the 10th degree.
Evil stinks..
No, that’s already been ruled out.

++++++++++++++++++++++++
Woo doggies, that’s NOT what I’m seeing! I see a LOT of extremely ANGRY people who sacrificed to either put their kids through school or who have paid off any loans they had. Now, for being responsible people who have worked hard, they are going to have to pay off the loans of others. This is not something that is “bringing the country together” ... just laughable but it’s not funny at all. I think a backlash is coming & FJB & The Regime/DNC won’t like the result ... no amount of gaslighting is going to convince those who have paid their own way that this is a ‘good thing’.
In the words of a demented old man - “what a load of Malarkey”
This is an outrageous abuse of power to do ONE thing.
