Furthering California’s long-standing collaboration with China on climate change, Governor Gavin Newsom today renewed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to advance ongoing cooperation on initiatives to protect the environment, reduce carbon emissions and air pollution, and promote clean energy development.
The Governor and China’s Minister of Ecology and Environment Huang Runqiu signed the MOU in a virtual meeting joined by Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis, who serves as the Governor’s Representative for International Affairs and Trade Development, and senior climate officials from California and China.
Don’t worry the powerful democrats in Sacramento won’t be turning their stuff off or down one bit. It’s always on us to do the sacrificing. We pay all the freight, now we have to push the train too.

California may be implementing rolling blackouts because of this heat wave.
I wonder if any liberals noticed that just last week, Newsom announced thag California will be phasing out the internal combustion engine vehicles, and is all in on electric cars.But the power to recharge all the new electric cars isn’t there. I have not heard anyone in the media notice this disconnect.

Which pretty much means the people of California get to freeze in the dark while the people of China do not.
I’m getting to the age where I can state to younger ones, “in my time you had well lit streets and houses, gas powered cars, and A/C that could run 24 hours.”
And he also told them NOT to charge their EV’s at peak hours.
With all this LED light technology I would have thought we'd see some progress and have 2-3x the number of street lights. but we don't.
