That corn field sequence was the most brutal I think I have ever seen in the movies due to its realism. Then to see them dump the bodies in the graves, stripped of their clothes, just emphasized the brutality.

Yup. Don was the first source. I’d worked with him on public relations for Yucca Mountain in the early 90s. He was hired because of his connections to Reid.
Another source was Mike, who worked under Lefty Rosenthal in the cage at the Stardust. Lefty had him bag up $1 million for Reid. Both Don and Mike had produced Lefty’s TV show, but at different times and didn’t know each other. Corroborated sources.
