Several women hit the streets in Western Iran Saturday and took off their hijabs as a mark of protest over the death of a 22-year-old woman, Mahsa Amini, who was reportedly arrested and beaten up by the country’s police for not properly following hijab regulations.

"Let's go, Brandon!"
“and Biden is going to give these animals a nuclear bomb!?”
Yup, just think of how many girls they could kill with a nuclear bomb.
WWJD?
Waiting for a groundswell of protest from the feminists in the US.
(Godot will show up before that happens.)
Islam: Throwing the female population backwards to a time when women were property and chattel for gathering nuts and berries, sewing animal skins together for clothing, cooking, cleaning, birthing babies, changing diapers and spreading their legs upon demand. (Suspect that idiotic whore “Horisontal the Hut” is cool with the leg spreading.)
That’s a demonstration I can support.
I’m actually in the middle of reading The Whirlwind by Clavelle, it’s about the Iranian revolution of 1979.
The Shaw had implemented the “white” revolution before, gave freedom to women, western ideals of democracy and rule by law etc. Khomeni had been exiled to France (the Shaws fatal mistake) he should have been executed. Anyway the mostly illiterate and barbarous population (over half could not read and lived as they did in the 7th century) overthrew the Shaw, killed most of the intellectuals and Westernized or drove them out. I started college in 1981 and met a young man whose wealthy family was exiled.
Now I and many of you knew this. What I’d forgotten, and what is relevant today is the communists in nearby USSR/Russia were deeply involved in fomenting the revolution. A bit like this country they sent subversives in to create unhappiness and stir dissent.
Those women should explore a few ways to dispatch their philandering husbands.
Let’s not forget Jimmy Carter’s failure to support the Shah.
When the radicals took over the US Embassy all Carter did was lock himself in the White House in “support” of those held as prisoner. He also kept the Christmas Tree dark.
The disaster of Carter’s attempt to free the hostages.
Ross Perot did a better job getting his people out.
He doesn’t get into that deeply. Except he often has the Shah’s people talk with hatred and contempt over Carter. Says he betrayed them.
That’s a good book too - “On Wings of Eagles” by Ken Follett.
And the Canadians helped get dix of our people out during that time as well.
