As a Viking American I am offended by the Vikings.
I believe there is very strong support from members of the Seminole tribe to keep the name.
As I recall the Seminole tribe was the only Indian trip to not be defeated by the US Army.
Why would they be offended? A brave was revered. Same with the name, Warrior. In the Indian culture, one had to EARN such titles.

Cleveland abandoned Chief Wahoo because of protests led by one guy from the American Indian Movement and a bunch of idiot woke-women from the UCC headquarters down the street. Pathetic beyond belief.

It use to be the Milwaukee Braves, and before that the Boston Braves - named after - what for it - the Brave “Indians” in the Boston tea party. Sorry, this is about patriotisms, not Indians.
They weren’t offended by the Cleveland Indians either (the name was chosen to honor the first American Indian major league player), but that didn’t stop the cowards from changing the name.
