Disgraced ex-FBI official Peter Strzok is suing the Department of Justice, alleging that his 2018 firing was political in nature.
Strzok’s infamous anti-Trump text messages with FBI lawyer Lisa Page that appear to promise that the FBI would stop Trump from getting elected proved to be a stunning blow to the perceived impartiality of the nation’s top law enforcement agency.
The most noteworthy of Strzok’s texts was on Aug. 15, 2016: “I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office that there’s no way he [Trump] gets elected — but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk. It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40…”
In response to the lawsuit, the Department of Justice released a draft of the 2018 letter by David Bowdich, the former deputy director of the FBI, firing Strzok — proving that his firing wasn’t political.
“While there is no doubt your 21 years of service to the organization cannot and should not be erased, it is difficult to fathom the repeated, sustained errors of judgment you made while serving as the lead agent in two of the most high profile investigations in the country,” Bowdich wrote. “Though the Office of the Inspector General found no evidence of bias impacted any of your or the FBI’s investigative actions or decisions, your sustained pattern of bad judgment in the use of an FBI device has called into question for many of the decisions made during both the Clinton e-mail investigation and the initial states of the Russian Collusion investigation.”
“In short, your repeated selfishness has called into question the credibility of the entire FBI.”

Organizations look out for themselves and their reputations. All the phony baloney Comey ethical compass stuff aside, if you're in the Bureau, you care about the Bureau, its power, its reputation, and its budget, and you aren't going to morally condemn another agent if it brings the Bureau into disrepute.
In other words, Strzok was careless in leaving a trail behind documenting his hatred of Trump and his partisan behavior.
Strzok’s crime in FBI eyes was using his official devices to communicate his misdeeds, thus leaving an embarrassing trail. Strzok and his Lady Macbeth were hyperambitious and consciously sought promotion. People like that do exactly what they perceive their bosses to want, which is what they did, except for getting caught. Strzok should make that the cornerstone of his suit.
What a joke.
Credibility went out the window with Richard Jewel train wreck.
People in government who commit these flagrant crimes should never see a dime of their government retirement money. Their crimes should forfeit all of it.
Oh, BS!!!
Maybe they didn't find "evidence", but it sure as hell happened.
Me, a smelly Walmart shopper.
It is the FBI that has been destroyed.
The Democrats have perverted it, like everything they touch, they destroy.
They should have sewn his penis and anus closed.
Peter Strzok is evil. I feel sorry for anybody with that same last name.
Strzok confided to his girlfriend-on-the-side that there was no substance to the allegations, but he did not try to stop their use, and continued to act as though the allegations were a big threat to American Democracy. His texts to her merely confirm that he absolutely knew they were conspiring in an outright lie.
Well...he deserves to be the “fall guy”! Although I hope the next president cleans out the deep state!
This guy seems so good at destroying things that perhaps he should learn scuba diving and underwater demolition. I am certain that the spooky agencies could find a new job for him.
These stories with their sensational “Liberal got Destroyed” headlines are meaningless and annoying. Stzok should be in jail in a sell next to Louis Lerner. Not “destroyed” by some silly letter.

Worse was IG found no bias in his investigation. Yeah like really!!
yes, a coup against a sitting US President is political in nature. What a puke!
And what he did was criminal, should be in jail....with Hillary.
The last name is curious. Remember early on Strzok was described as being “counter intelligence.” Somehow that’s been dropped to just being “FIB”. But the extra “z” is a tell. Counter agent types are well know to add a Z or something similar to their names to screen them from their families and past connections. Makes them harder to background check.
Smirking...
...all the way to the bank!
