Masks are back at Rutgers University after the faculty unions were able to reverse a decision made last Monday eliminating the masking requirement outside the clinical setting.
Three Rutgers faculty unions said they were never consulted on the decision to remove the mask mandate and Friday afternoon, they filed a legal complaint with the New Jersey Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC).
"We learned (with little notice) that Rutgers would no longer require face coverings in classrooms and libraries ... Our unions won a temporary restraining order," said Rutgers professors Rebecca Givan and Todd Wolfson, president and vice president of Rutgers AAUP-AFT in this statement Monday. "These have been our goals from the start this fall: give instructors the right to weigh the concerns and judge what is best within their classrooms for their health and safety and that of their families, students and communities."
Monday, PERC sided with the unions, issuing a temporary order that now states everyone must wear face masks in libraries. PERC also said professors can still require masks in their individual classrooms.
For their part, Rutgers administration is trying to overturn the PERC ruling, and lift the mask requirement in libraries and remove the right of professors to require masks in their individual classrooms.

And that after biden declared that Covid is over and the CDC even relaxed masking guidelines for healthcare settings.

My niece goes to Rutgers and I’m sure she’s all in. Her parents have been telling her the planet is dying since she was born. No wonder so many kids are effed up.

Universities are a complete disgrace.
Just imagine voluntarily wearing one at this point, it boggles the mind. They maskers are a total disgrace and they are a true ongoing threat in my opinion. Enemies.

“Some people just live to fear.” True. And it is spiritual. Some people are not strong enough to be hopeful and brave. Masks are useless and vaccines are harmful. Period.
I still see people wearing masks while walking alone outside in the sunshine and fresh air or while driving alone in their cars with windows rolled up.
The thing that angers me the most is when I see toddlers with masks pulled up to their ears and eyeballs.
Kids don’t need masks. Covid is not a danger to them nor are they a danger to anyone else.
Those poor kids are being brought up to live in bondage to fear.
The fact that mandates have to be fought in a million different legal jurisdictions is very frustrating. Why could we find a no named judge in Hawaii who just made it illegal nationally? The left shackled Trump’s various initiatives that way.

There were also a lot of workers holding up signs with a barcode that they were insisting everyone had to scan - it was related to covid, but I don't know the details. I assume it was for contact tracing or maybe for uploading negative test results for counties that still require that. I didn't see a single person approach those workers, and some of the workers were becoming pretty agitated - they were shouting that we couldn't board our plane without doing it. No one even flinched and all went well.
As we were waiting to board, I remarked to my husband that I think that most people are FINALLY over this crap.
Well, they are free to live in bondage if they so choose.
Just as long as they don’t expect me to live in bondage to their fear and paranoia.
Masks are now religious attire of the leftists
