In order to craft the narrative, they have to have a tsunami of fake information. People hear the same thing from multiple sources, they begin to believe it to be true. I know it because when I talk to people, they parrot 'the narrative'.
For example, Trump is a criminal, Republicans want to put women in chains, MAGA people are white supremacists, the Hunter Biden laptop is fake, and so on. The truth can't get a word in edgewise

Many of the typical new networks, Twitter and Facebook no longer work because people have quit following them.
People wised up during the lockdowns.
