This is fascinating as the Chimu were previously not known for human sacrifice. If more such sites are found this will greatly the perception of the Chan Chan culture If not, the likelihood is this was a culture in a life or death crisis trying any desperate expedient.
The first anti-colonial writer of note was the Dominican Friar Bartolome De Las Casas.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bartolom%C3%A9_de_las_Casas
He was very influential, and his complaints were heard at the Spanish court. This led to a centuries-long policy of benevolence towards the natives by the crown, which persisted through changes of reign and dynasty. For three hundred years natives could always find a sympathetic ear at court.
And in the Church for that matter. There was a marked pro-native bias in the Spanish church.
Unfortunately royal/imperial policy was of limited effectiveness on the ground, the King was far away but the alguacil was right here. And contrary to popular misconceptions, the church was weak in the Spanish colonies. Too few priests and churches for the territory and population was the common story.
The CRT crows will still say that the murderous cultures of some of the Native Americans were better off before Europeans came to the Americas.
The dating of the bodies should tell whether this was a crisis or a long established custom.
If it bleeds it leads, even in science.
The Aztecs were no better. Glad Cortez wiped them out.
Just Planned Parenthood fulfilling some quotas via Obama approved post-term abortions.
No evidence was found of gender-affirming surgeries among the sacrificed children. Chimu natives would have found such procedures unspeakably barbaric.
They are blessed with an “Oral History”.
Well, you know what Zuckerberg will say…FAKE NEWS.
"Mound 72 at Cahokia sounds innocuous enough, but its contents reveal much about social hierarchy and religious beliefs at Cahokia. The mound is long and ridge-like and oriented to the rising sun at the winter solstice. Snip...
Associated with the caped male in Mound 72 were, young female human sacrifices, including a mass burial of 50 young women lined up on wooden litters. The victims were likely killed nearby and carried on the litters to a pit in the mound. These females do not show evidence of violent treatment. Looking at the carbon and nitrogen isotopes in these women’s skeletons compared to the high-status burials, it became clear that the women ate more maize and less meat than the central male figures. Corn is missing vital amino acids found in meat, and these women may have suffered from poor nutrition. Dental studies suggest they may not have even been from Cahokia proper. Historic accounts of the Natchez Indians, who also built earthen mounds, indicate that female relatives were sometimes strangled upon the death of a high-status male. In one account a French reported:
“The death of a chieftain touched off a sacrificial orgy when several aides and two of the man’s wives and three children were strangled so they could escort him into the next world.” (Indian Tribes of the Lower Mississippi Valley)
It is, therefore, possible that these women in Mound 72 might have been strangled wives or female kin of the deceased, which would have left no physical evidence of violent treatment on the skeleton."

One of the biggest lies out there for sure. Natives were evil, cruel, twisted, and insanely wicked towards one another.
Thanks!
In the ancient days they sacrificed children so they could make money (good crops), have success, enjoy life and what not.
Today they have abortions so they can keep their career, have success, have fun, etc.
I hope people on the left aren’t appalled at such actions by primitive tribes. For they demand the same here in the U.S. on a daily basis. And, the left not only rips out their hearts, but take all their other parts and sell them to medical researchers (at institutes of higher(?) learning).

With 60 million since ‘73 America makes the ancient Peruvians look like pikers

Well, when you factor in global abortions, the numbers are beyond staggering. 36 million a year. Since 1973, you are looking at around 1.6 BILLION babies that were killed worldwide.
Makes you wonder why God has not made a repeat performance since the days of Sodom and Gomorrah? Obviously today we have way more evil and corruption, but yet the world continues to turn... Disgusting.
No surprise. Third world people are addicted the Satan. When Padre Serra arrived in California in 1770 he learned that the thirty Indian tribes in CA were in the process of killing each other. Thus, Serra built nine campuses with walls to protect the Indians from other Indians. He preserved Indian culture, the little there was, and was revered. He also had to do exorcisms regularly.
Hah!
For almost 50 years abortion was approved by the US Supreme Court because some liberal judges said it was a Constitutional right.
The execution of any person is horrific!
This is the stuff of “How dare you” kill an innocent child?!
That billboard is demonic. Quoting Mark 12:31 is beyond blasphemous
and they don’t even quote it correctly. Matthew 4:5 shows that even satan can quote Scripture. Demons all!
