Based on recent polling, RealClearPolitics projects Republicans will win the hotly contested gubernatorial races in four states that were once seen as Democrat strongholds: Wisconsin, Oregon, Nevada, and, yes, Michigan.
One wonders how the latest polling out of Minnesota — polling that shows Republican Dr. Scott Jensen leading his Democrat opponent Tim Walz, 46.3 to 45.8 percent — will affect that RealClear projection.

A lot of us are skeptical and reluctant to believe polls, since they tend to be all over the place, but when polls ALL start moving in the same direction...
When I see the MN, IL, MI and WI polls moving in the same direction that tells me something. That’s all the same region. Different states of course but very similar electorates.
Similar to 2016 when I saw Trump ahead in Ohio by like ten points, I knew that would carry north into Michigan and east into Pennsylvania. Because it’s the same people, just across a made-up line.
The CDC’s new policy on recommended (soon to be mandated) Covid shots for 5 year olds and under is a gift handing the election on a Silver Platter to these Republican candiates for governor.
Remember only 5% of parents got the shot for their kids. So you have a rare instance of an issue you have 95% on your side.
They got to follow Desantis and come out and say and say often if elected governor, not in my state. Put their Democrat opponents on defense.
This is such a gift, but unfortunately Republicans tend to always want to play nice, so they will likely let it pass.

Pfizer has announced that the $30 cost for vaccines they charged the Federal Government will rise to between $120 & $130 a shot when the Feds no longer provide the shot in 2012..

Would be great, if the poll actually meant anything. In a fair election they would be heartening, but the biggest factor they don’t take in to account (and can’t) is the massive cheating we are going to see.
