Daycare
I work at the hospital next door to Children’s National, and census is through the roof.
Jab jive?
Census at the neighboring hospital?
Census of who?
My 25 year old twins almost died of it when they were 6 weeks old.
One was on a ventilator for a month.
The other one was on a ventilator for a weeks, but she got a brain injury from throwing up and electrolytes getting screwed up.
RSV is the leading cause of death for infants in this country, and there still isn’t a vaccine.
Any statement that leads off with “experts agree” is almost always bullcrap.
Grandson was diagnosed with RSV four years ago. I’d never heard of it before.
I have ran tons of rsv tests in my career. There have never been more than a few positives. This is generally kids under 4 and babies… a group the dems despise.
Something is amiss and this started earlier in the year. Any pens doc here? I am guessing they would have more direct evidence, because kids get treated regardless of test results.
On the other hand… regarding the lab test world. Manufacturers determine positivity by design. It doesn’t even have to be pcr. These are lock and key tests… Change the lock to make a key fit.
Pedes units were overwhelmed by RSV 30 years ago too. Back when they had more beds and less outpatient procedures. We have no historical memory in health care.
We are seeing a bump because as predicted children who have been isolated have weak immune systems and get sick harder.
I wonder about connection with a condition that may be connected to an increase in young people dying of heart attacks?
About 800. They did 16 heart surgeries on Friday.
Sick adults.
16 adult heart surgeries??
Wow.
I wonder how many were jabbed.
Not that TPTB will ever say.
But aren't most of these kids too young for that excuse? Were they even born yet when things started opening up again?
Up to age 4?
Hospitals are still running short due to staffing issues. Not that firing half the staff for refusing the Wuhan shot is in any way related to the problem.
What are the stats? Are most of these kids 3 and up? Or are they infants?
