The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Saturday that Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky had tested positive for COVID-19.
She is experiencing mild symptoms and is up to date with her vaccines.
"Consistent with CDC guidelines, she is isolating at home and will participate in her planned meetings virtually. CDC senior staff and close contacts have been informed of her positive test and are taking appropriate action to monitor their health," the CDC said in an emailed statement.
In September, the director received her bivalent, omicron-specific COVID-19 booster shot.

And, upon every visit to your physician they push both the Covid and flu vaccines. They really do think we are stupid. (Of course, they have reason to believe that since so many people are lining up to get their fourth (or is it fifth?) shot.)

Been laughing about this with several people today.
My very smart MD, who didn’t tell me to get a shot because he believes in natural immunity, will LHAO. He did when I told him that the CEO of Pfizer caught covid.
We talked to a couple getting over Covid, and yes they had all shots. We strongly suggested they get in contact with their doctor for an entire new series as it would help. They asked if we had shots. I wish I had a picture of their faces when we said, Hell no.
