A judge in New York ruled that voting by mail over fears of the coronavirus is unconstitutional.
The Democrat-controlled legislature "appears poised to continue the expanded absentee voting provisions of New York State Election Law … in an Orwellian perpetual state of health emergency and cloaked in the veneer of ‘voter enfranchisement,'" Saratoga County Supreme Court Justice Dianne Freestone, a Republican, wrote in her ruling Friday.
The 28-page ruling ordered local election boards to stop counting absentee ballots they’ve already received and to "preserve" them until after Election Day on Nov. 8 or after the resolution of a lawsuit filed by Republicans in the state. The ruling does not invalidate ballots that have already been mailed

Yes, but a mess in the current election.
My self-avowed Marxist neighbor recently interrupted my daily walk through the neighborhood by claiming that “voter suppression” was ongoing here in Georgia because drop boxes are now located inside the election office and are now accessible only M-F, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. I said that the curbside drop boxes from the 2020 and (local) 2021 election cycles were a temporary measure due to Covid fears. He then replied that we are still in the middle of the Covid pandemic. At that point, I waved goodbye and continued on my walk.
A little late.
What a maroon your neighbor is.
Where do Democrats all get the exact same talking points to parrot?
“What a maroon your neighbor is.”
Absolutely; you don’t know the half of it!
“Where do Democrats all get the exact same talking points to parrot?”
The ones I know all watch CNN, MSNBC, and the late-night shows.

I remember when the late night shows were entertainment and comedy (Carson, the early Letterman) - there would be political jokes here and there but it wasn’t the main focus. Now it’s all politics and “identity.”
someone in the Republican Party please start a class action and sue Kalifornia over this same issue, PLEASE!
The usual places; CNN, MSNBC,the View, other idiot DemocRats.
Probably do. I have a SIL who is incredibly ignorant for being an intelligent person. She has the Joy Reid moves down pat.
Wow...
Ok so a state judge. Look for Rats to take it to the federal district to try and overturn it.
LOL - that poor thing.
Some are enjoying never ending maskerbation and boo$ter penetration.
Why woul;d GA even have drop boxes then ???
They have early voting going on right now
If a GA voter is going to enter the election office while tghe polls are open why dont they just go ahead and vote regular while they are there ???
Thats where I do my early voting in TN at the election office
Here in California all the literature that is mailed out to voters has hardly anything to say about in-person voting on Election Day. All the materials are full of instructions on how to vote by mail or how to find a drop box to deposit your ballot. You have to really search to find the in-person information. I received a small postcard-like item that listed three “vote centers” where you can actually go in person to vote. That’s it. None of them are within walking distance of my house.
No more polling places in your neighborhood, just a few “vote centers” that you need to locate and drive to.
The covid thingy really seems to hate voters and apparently targets them especially hard. But seriously, we know the real reason for this nonsense.
By the way, in my little area of L.A. County we usually get a 14% turnout, so ‘democracy’ is already dead here.
“Why would GA even have drop boxes then ???”
Good question. The only two reasons I can think of are to accommodate those who don’t trust the voting machines and those who don’t want to fill out forms in person and/or wait in line.
