Pennsylvania Democratic Senate candidate John Fetterman stumbled during Tuesday’s debate with his GOP challenger, Dr. Mehmet Oz, after he was asked about prior statements he made in opposition to fracking, a process he now says he has “always supported.”
“I’ve always supported fracking and I always believe that independence with our energy is critical, and we can’t be held, you know, ransom to somebody like Russia,” Fetterman said. “I’ve always believed that energy independence is critical and I’ve always believed that — and I do support fracking, never taken any money from their industry, but I support how critical it is that we produce our energy and create energy independence.” […]
Fetterman, currently Pennsylvania’s lieutenant governor, supported a complete moratorium on fracking in the state, according to an April 2016 Facebook post from Pennsylvania Voters Against Fracking.
He also said during a 2016 debate, during his first run for Senate, that he supported a fracking moratorium.
In a 2018 YouTube interview, Fetterman said, “I don’t support fracking, at all, and I never have.”
”I’ve signed the no fossil fuels money pledge,” he added at the time. “I have never received a dime from any natural gas or oil company whatsoever.” …

Give YT a couple of days and you won’t find any references to those Fetterclaus statements from the past.
That was only one of his lies tonight. I hope Oz hits him hard in campaign ads. Just show the two different sides of an issue and then stamp “Lie”.

That’s at least two trains. Longest Amtrak train I remember was sixteen cars. Back during rail’s heyday, a lot of intercity trains were about 25 cars long.
The man is an utter Neanderthal - and it has nothing to do with stroke damage. How in the world these half-wit communists get enough votes to be elected to any seat, anywhere, just baffles me. We’ve long talked about the dumbing-down of American society. Electing someone of Fetterman’s caliber is proof positive of that fact.
Given what I saw in 2020, I am not surprised. The Democrats don’t need legitimate votes.

I think Mastriano can actually hold his own against Shapiro.
I saw a little cut from the debate where he was asked what qualified him to serve. He took off on a rant about Oz. I stopped after a few sentences, I couldn’t believe it. Gets asked about himself and talks about the other guy.

Fetterman’s camp is now saying that the closed captioning that was used for Uncle Fester was not working properly.
Until I read the article, I was unaware he is Pennsylvania’s Lt. Governor. I thought he was just some random wack job. WTF Penn.!?
I watched the debate last night. I don't know who at Fox did the transcription/translation, but they must be superman. The quote above did not come out of Fetterman's mouth.
