Global concern on Russia’s suspension of Ukraine grain deal

U.S. President Joe Biden warned that global hunger could increase because of Russia’s suspension of a U.N.-brokered deal to allow safe passage for ships carrying Ukrainian grain.

“It’s really outrageous,” said Biden speaking in Wilmington, Delaware, on Saturday. “There’s no merit to what they’re doing. The U.N. negotiated that deal and that should be the end of it.”

Biden spoke hours after Russia announced it would immediately halt participation in the agreement, alleging that Ukraine staged a drone attack Saturday against Russia’s Black Sea Fleet ships off the coast of occupied Crimea. Ukraine has denied the attack.

Look for grain prices to skyrocket in the Middle East. That’s where Ukrainian grain normally goes.

“The U.N. negotiated that deal and that should be the end of it”

One more reminder of how useless and ineffective the UN has been since its inception and the horrendous waste of taxpayer money funneled to the US to keep it alive.

What Biden says carries no weight. Biden has anti-gravitas.

Then maybe the USAF Global Hawk that was orbiting over the Black Sea should not be coordinating air and sea drone attacks on the port used to ship the grain. Duh.

Almost seems like US policy is to totally isolate Russia, as in blowing up the NS pipeline.

Even if it means Germans freeze, or 3rd-worlders starve.

Russia wasn’t “safeguarding” the ships, they were threatening to attack them

that’s why the agreement was needed

as usual, Russia is the menace here

It’s all about narrative and further attempts to isolate Putin/Russia.

Putin’s war on energy.
Now, Putin’s war on food.

I’m not behind either of the corrupt principalities, Russia or Ukraine. I hope that BOTH of them, as governing principalities, lose. My prayers are for the flesh and blood enduring the pain and heartache of war on both sides.

However... what’s outrageous is that our own Meat Puppet Biden expects to send billions of dollars (MY money!!!) worth of advanced weaponry to Ukraine to kill Russians (and enrich ZZZelllinskyyy) yet he think Russia, in turn, is OBLIGATED to feed the world because he and the UN globalists say so.

That’s not sound-mind thinking, y’all. That’s mental illness.

so Russia reneged on ANOTHER agreement that they freely signed?

typical ... this is why we say, Russia is not a reliable or trustworthy partner

that’s also why Ronald Reagan said “Trust but verify”, because he didn’t trust those lying snakes either!

Anyone who expects Russia to leave a lever they can pull to their advantage un-pulled is delusional.

The real astonishing thing is Russia is paying Ukraine to ship gas across Ukrainian territory to Europe. That pipeline is still in use. I’m sure Ukraine would love to shut it down as it is directly benefiting Russia by providing desperately needed income. But by shutting it down Ukraine would be damaging its much-needed allies.

There was this theory published just prior to WWI stating that there would never again be a European war because Europe was so financially interdependent that no country could afford to go to war.

⚡️Smuggling of ammunition via the “grain deal” ships

ships loaded with grain left Ukrainian ports, unloaded at the destination port and went back to Ukraine supposedly empty. Allegedly...

In fact, the vessels involved in the grain deal, after passing the Bosphorus on the way back, were loaded with ammunition at 10-20% of the maximum deadweight directly at sea from Bulgarian and / or Romanian vessels.

Why by 10-20%? Yes, so that the appearance (precipitation) does not betray their loading. And safely returned to the Ukrainian port, where ammunition was unloaded at night!

In order to reliably simulate the zero load of the ship, dear Western partners and their Ukrainian colleagues even repainted the cargo stamps on the sides of the ships that participated in the” deal”, raising them higher on board!

Also, the vessels were bunkered with water and fuel at a minimum, just to reach the Odessa ports. Everything to save displacement for the sake of projectiles.

How much ammo could be transferred with such restrictions?
Enough for the AFU!

‼️A small bulk carrier with a deadweight of 20 thousand tons brought back 2000 tons of ammunition, and this is about 30 railway cars with ammunition or 3 railway trains!

Russia wasn’t “safeguarding” the ships, they were threatening to attack them

So the Russians were going to attack their own ships. Just like they blew up their own pipeline and bridge to Crimea.
