San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins on Monday announced a host of charges, including attempted murder, against alleged Paul Pelosi attacker, David DePape.
"The charges that we are filing today include attempted murder, residential burglary, assault with a deadly weapon, elder abuse, false imprisonment of an elder as well as threats to a public official and their family," Jenkins said, per Fox News.
DePape allegedly broke into the Pelosi household in San Francisco seeking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. A 911 dispatcher later contacted the authorities and sent them to the home after interpreting Paul Pelosi's "coded" words through an open line. During the incident, Pelosi was struck with a hammer.
Federal authorities announced charges against DePape on Monday for attempted kidnapping and assaulting the family of a public official in retaliation for their job performance.
Reports also emerged on Monday that DePape was in the country illegally, having arrived in the U.S. 20 years ago from Canada and overstayed his VISA.
Jenkins took office earlier this year after she quit working for progressive former San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin and backed a recall effort against him. She has since taken a tougher approach to tackling crime in the city than her predecessor, revoking at least 30 plea deals Boudin negotiated, some of which she viewed as too lenient.
Since both of these agencies have had many past issues of telling lies, I suspect there is still a lot we still are scratching our heads and saying 'there are things that do not make sense'.
Guess DuPape is going to get a lot of moola to go along with the gag they are foisting off on the lofos.

A man arrested in the home invasion beating of Paul Pelosi, the husband of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, is an illegal immigrant.
Fox News journalist Bill Melugin, citing a source with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, tweeted that David DePape is in the country illegally.
The source described DePape as a “longtime” visa overstay, Melugin said.
In interviews with CNN, relatives of DePape said he grew up in British Columbia before moving from Canada to California decades ago.
KRON-TV in San Francisco reported that DePape is part of a nudist activist group in the city’s Castro district.
Some of the Berkeley resident’s neighbors reportedly describe him as a habitual drug user who exhibited symptoms of mental illness.
Critics of California’s “sanctuary state” laws pointed to DePape’s visa status as evidence of the failure of such policies.

The funniest thing in the affidavit is the fact that this Canadian attacked Pelosi because of the founding fathers or such nonsense. He’s Canadian.

Me too. He has been oddly silent. Usually the attorney issues a statement. I’m thinking he got a “Plata o Plomo” threat from the PTB.
So where was Paul in the hours leading up to the assault?
It would be interesting to know his whereabouts and what he was doing that evening and night. But we’ll never find out.
If this happened to an ordinary Joe, we wouldn’t know about it and hammer guy would be walking the streets out on bail.
I think he’s in the hospital to keep him drugged up.
No perp walk, no media clamor to talk to this guy.

I kind of doubt that, now that the U.S. Just-us Dept has filed federal charges.
My guess is, DuPape will be buried deep in bowels of some “holding” jail for a very long time. Maybe with the J6 political prisoners.
And to keep him from talking to an attorney
An attempted murder charge should get him to mount a vigorous defense. A lawyer will have him tell his side in court.
DePape’s expiration date just got advanced…
