I think you have it half a***** backwards.
There are three of these in the Black Sea fleet, not two.
These to aren’t currently on fire, but the pictures dont show if they are otherwise damaged.
In what way did the humanitarian corridor deal mask an attack on Crimea? Crimea is fair game to the Ukrainians.
Who will be punished for attacking the ships the last time?
Afloat, yes. Undamaged?
Who will be punished for the Ukrainians again attacking the Black Sea Fleet? Presumably Admiral Viktor Sokolov, the new Russian commander of the Black Sea Fleet (who just took over after the last commander, Igor Osipov, was fired after the sinking of the Moskva).
The Russian defence ministry on Wednesday said it obtained written guarantees from Kyiv “thanks to the participation” of the UN and “help” from Türkiye.
It said Kyiv guaranteed “the non-use of the humanitarian corridor and Ukrainian ports determined in the interests of the export of agricultural products for conducting military operations against the Russian Federation.”
Amazing how the DC neocon Narrative, which is 180 degrees different, is immediately pumped by our resident neoconned dupes.
After skimming the surface following the grain corridor, the drones broke off for Sevastopol. Also I think there was an air launch drone attack, coordinated,
Because the humanitarian sea lane, with traffic in it, masked the drones, The Russians had minimal warning but managed to shoot down most if not all, and neutralize most of the sea drones. An alert Russian marine has already been decorated for warning and response.
Another captured drone path showed it originated at sea leading Russia to believe it was launched from a grain carrier…NFI on this,
Russian intelligence had previously indicated special weapons were being smuggled into Ukraine on grain ships, including the explosives used to make the bombs used on the Kerch bridge.
There are/were actually 2 grain agreements. One where the Russians and Turks cleared mines and posted coordinates of safe lanes for commercial shipping ( allowing insurers to keep underwriting the shippers), Hence the Russian minesweeper Ivan Golubets outside Sevastopol, which was hit and damaged, The other grain agreement involving inspections of ships in ports and escort to Ukraine ports…which I believe was between Turkey and Ukraine. Maybe Russia now brought in.
This news gleaned from Russian military and other diplomatic channels. Hopefully helpful.
The truth is so more interesting, analytically, than the disinfo. Which has actually been very amateurish, hence prob not being run by London or DC.
OMG, its stern is blown-clean-off!
Musta been a 44 Magnum
The "sufficient guaranties" are the Turkish Navy will defend Ukrainian ships and Russia is not going to escalate by attacking Turkish escorted food shipments.
This is a gutsy move by Turkey.
