Same as showing how robbing a bank is illegal by robbing a bank.

She had to know this would be the result - now she has bully pulpit to use legal system and court proceedings to expose the problem.

Wonder what legal org will step up to the plate here?

Regardless of motive, she committed fraud

You say there is no evidence of election fraud so it didn't happen, then when someone demonstrates how easy election fraud is you demand they be prosecuted because exposing election fraud is a crime.

She might have been lying when she said...”she wanted to prove how easy it was to cheat”...WOW.

That is better than Pantsuit Hillary constantly accusing the Spooky Right Wing, of conspiracy.

Considering that she has been reported to be a RAT, that was my first thought also.

She exposes the corruption in the election system. They threaten her with criminal charges. What a third world country we have.

If you look at the election laws, they are designed to make it impossible to verify the election and/or audit the results.

We live in a banana republic.

You're right: The Sons of Liberty should have been excoriated & prosecuted, not celebrated. They had no right to do what they did, and the Founders were wrong to incorporate the following into the Declaration of Independence:

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.
What is it? Is it perverse sarcasm? Irreversible damage from constipation? Or is it the fluoride in your water???

I suppose you celebrate the 'Inflation Reduction Act' as economic salvation & truth, that the past 2 years the only lawful Americans were those who complied fully with all edicts???

/s

Holy shit.

He didn't vote with the ballots: He turned them over to a government official after exposing an egregious security hole.

Shades of the arrest of Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips.

Hope she gets the book thrown at her.

Actually, I hope she does too, and is defended vigorously.

A huge, public trial, where she can tell the world how easy it is to commit fraud with the ad hoc and illegal electoral systems, mass mail in ballots, etc... is EXACTLY what the US sheeple need to see

She should have gone to a Sheriff and had the Sheriff’s office open a formal investigation. The she would have had at least a fig leaf’s worth of protection.

Not much of a ‘story’. Military ballots are the least secure because they my come off a copy machine near a front line of active duty soldiers. Since they are cast under the worst security conditions possible, they are held for counting until the very end, and only if they could change the result of the election.

WHy?.....................

Because she broke the law. She could have made the point without doing that in the manner she did. It calls into question her judgement.

It's akin to breaking into a computer system "to show it can be done", or downloading child porn "to show it can be done", or any other number of actions AFTER a person has been caught.

She should have indicated her intent *before* she requested the ballots. Indicating her intent after the fact calls into question her motives. Lastly, she lied to her supervisor about someone fraudulently requesting absentee ballots. Why would she do that if the point of her actions was to show how easy it is to fraudulently request absentee ballots?

The truth of this should be easily shown by defense council -— if she has a history of advocating for a tightening of the requirements for securing an absentee ballot.

IMO, Northern leftist states dominated by Democrats are the biggest lying, cheating effers on this planet. It has gotten to the point during these mid-terms that they OPENLY defy court orders and any outcry. They sow the wind now; they’ll reap the whirlwind later. FAITH and PERSERVERENCE. Having Elon take a HUGE bite out of leftist controlled, conservative-censoring Twitter is a very good start.

Why oh why are conservatives so stupid as to support this person’s prosecution?

We have a corrupt, unjust system that facilitates fraud and the theft of our nation. And yet the democrats say, “rules are rules” and conservatives nod their heads in compliance.

We have to stand up for what’s right even when the laws are wrong. Especially when the laws are wrong.

Quit being mindless zombies.

I the read the story too and am left with mixed emotions.

I am having a hard time believing that someone committing a crime in order to demonstrate the ease by which the crime might be committed didn’t first document her intentions before acting. If I were to rob a bank in order to show how easy it was, I would make sure that there were certain safeguards in place, like videotaping the entire enterprise with voice-over annotations to clarify my intent.

But the road to Hell, or in this case prison, may indeed be paved with good intentions.
