Comedian and HBO late-night host Bill Maher predicted that Republicans are “definitely going to win” a congressional majority in next week’s midterm elections, thanks in part to “woke culture.”
Maher claimed the left has gone “super crazy” in ways that the average American “doesn’t understand” and doesn’t want.
He made his comments while appearing on comedian Bill Burr’s “Monday Morning Podcast” on Thursday. The two talked pop culture, the Playboy Mansion, and politics, with Maher admitting that Republicans are going to “do so well” on election day next Tuesday.

Think about it less about caring about his opinion, and more about a bellwether indicator. The Democrats are so off, they’ve been making him sound more conservative.
Interesting conversation. At one point he discusses the ignorance of the American people regarding how we use checks and balances to prevent a government from going too far one direction or the other.
He spoke about the reasons why the Democrats are going to lose big, specifically because they push agendas that the people don’t want and ignore the needs of the people. Then he goes on about we’re going to “lose democracy” when the people vote in whom they want to represent them and to get things back on track.
You know, the democratic way to exercise checks and balances . . .

Maher is saner than most of them. The other day he told someone to knock off the civil war talk because the right has a lot of guns.
Maher continuously tries to insert himself into the conversation like the good little apple polisher he has made himsrlf out to be.

Yeah, ********. The foundation stone of "woke" is abortion on demand, and Maher recently claimed that the abortion of Roe v Wade should be the DNC (D and C) banner heading into the midterms.
Interested in Burr’s replies and comments... Anyone got a transcript.
I believe Burr hates the wokeness, too, but is scared to death of being caught out.
That’s why he would not support Gina Cararo, on her firing on the Mandalorian, much to my disgust.
My thought is the crocodile will just eat you last, Bill. No one with a mouth like yours gets away from the mob forever. It’s just a slip of your profane tongue away...
