DeSantis has been an impressive Florida Governor, but how do you feel about MAGA? I thought it was a Trump ploy, while he was running, but could see in his term that he meant it. Trump’s take on China is 100% accurate. I don’t know how DeSantis would be. That is my thought.

Hillary had the big money and lost. It is not about big money.

DeSantis did say if Trump runs, he will not run!!

Are you sure about that? Everything I've seen says he hasn't said that, and its why some of Trump's strongest supporters are not happy with him because they believe he should say that.

Slow day in your hood? Or just being pragmatic? I’ll guess the latter!

I’m kinda glad to be on the Joe Sixpack side of the equation rather than the mega donors side. You might not believe it but those two sides have vastly different agendas.

Exactly. DeSantis is flat broke (in relative terms), and has no future in politics unless he sells out to the Ken Griffins of the GOP.

Sorry, but I voted for Donald Trump because I was tired of that sh!t.

The old guard is working to get rid of Trump’s influence in the GOp. After what Biden has done with the country we will need a Trump.

People who have tired of Trump are letting the left (including the Bushies) decide who is acceptable to run. I don’t get a vote on who they run, why would I ask them for permission to vote for somebody I like?

If they get rid of Trump, DeSantis will be the next victim of endless investigations and he doesn’t have the funds to withstand it.

There is only one way DeSantis runs in 2024, and that’s with the full backing and help from Trump.

HINT: We don’t want the Ken Griffins, nor the Soros types to pick which candidate..the people have chosen. Let the precinct crowds each decide, and let’s NOT look to see who endorses... including Orpha Winfrey.

The strength of an argument can’t be bought. Mega donor, mini donor, or total loner, make your case without the special status.

I'm thinking the media would salivate at the idea of Trump and DeSantis mauling each other in the 2024 primary, which is why DeSantis is making the smart play by sitting this one out. We do not want his brand to be ruined in a fratricidal brawl with Trump. Ron has time, he's young and not finished in FL yet anyway.

Besides, if Trump gets knocked out of running by any of these legal problems the left keeps creating, we are going to need DeSantis in the on-deck circle.

I love Trump's policy goals. I love the way he takes the media to task.

I do not like how he constantly says "me" and "I" about everything. He has a giant ego. When he was a businessman in NYC he loved all Democrat politicians. Shaprton, Jackson, Clinton, etc... He partied with them all the time. I feel that he saw an opening to appeal to Republicans so he changed his personal branding. To me it feels like this whole thing is just Trump marketing himself.

I believe that with Desantis you'll get all the positives of MAGA with none of the negatives.

GOP mega-donor Ken Griffin wants to be a “king maker” and Trump does not need his money (or influence) so of course he wants someone else.

If Trump isn’t going to have drastically improved hiring capabilities, then I don’t want him in there either.

You cannot compare the two. Old Joe has had brain issues and surgeries in the past. Trump is robust. Apples and oranges. DeSantis is young and a lifetime of opportunities.
