Eli Crane, backed by former President Donald Trump, defeated Democrat Rep. Tom O’Halleran in the race to represent Arizona’s second congressional district, according to an ABC News projection.

I think it’s more like 10-15.
RCP currently has Republicans at 205.
This was expected. It’s also expected that we take the open CD-6 seat and Schweikert holds CD-1. Those 2 things *should* happen, which would make us +2 in the House in Arizona and contribute towards offsetting disgusting losses in CO-3 and maybe WA-3 or NM-2.
If my name was Eli Crane, I would have legally changed it to “Ichabod” a long time ago. :-P

That makes him my Rep and I couldn’t be happier. Haven’t been represented since JD Hayworth — that’s been maybe 25 years. Since then it’s been all feckless libs.
After redistricting, this district (which was already pretty heavy Republican) got a lot more heavy Republican. O’Halleran had no chance!
Basically, they redistricted O’Halleran from his district!
