Twitter users mocked Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger after the Republican insisted Wednesday that Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., was not the future of his political party.
Kinzinger appeared on CNN’s coverage of the midterm elections speaking with anchor Anderson Cooper about the results from the previous night. One notable focus included DeSantis' landslide victory in Florida and what that could mean for conservatives.
"Governor Ron DeSantis obviously won big in Florida, including getting a lot of Latino votes. Do you think, I mean, do you see him as the future of the Republican Party?" Cooper asked.

Haven’t heard anyone call him that but it may be possible the GOPe may intend to use him to dislodge Trump.
Kinzinger is making a fortune tearing down Republicans. Let him fade away into the mist.

DeSantis is a good governor and will make a good president (in 2028…)
But only if the elections are cleaned up. With the current situation of legalized election fraud no honest politician can win who hasn’t been pre-selected by the puppeteers. We saw what they did in 2020, we see what they did this month. The Republicans won big in Florida, not just because DeSantis is a good governor, but because the elections are relatively clean.
If we don’t clean up the elections, no honest politician will win, ever.
If Kinzinger had his druthers the GOP standard-bearers would be Cheney / Bush / Romney / types.
DeSantis is both more conservative and more effective than Trump. Trump gave us the toxic warp-speed vaccine, which he considers one of his great achievements, and DeSantis stopped it from killing Florida children.
DeSantis is the man!!
American Democracy is a sham. Republicans need to start treating it like a sham and learn how to exploit it for their purposes. In other words Ronna McDaniel has got to go, we need a slit throat snake with a smile in there. We’re on the road to Venezuela with this playing nice act.
Does Desantis ever talked about trade, tariffs or repatriating industry? Has he ever said “MAGA” in public? Does he even own a red hat?

When Ron DeSantis flies to make a political campaign appearance on behalf of a candidate in another state, the first question everyone should ask is: Who paid for the flight?
When Donald Trump crisscrosses the country making political appearances, you never have to ask that question. He even has his name emblazoned on the side of his private jet in giant letters to prove it.
Nothing more needs to be said.
