Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed a special counsel to investigate former President Donald Trump. Do not be fooled: this act is not intended to remove Trump from the battlefield, but rather to help him ride to victory and become the GOP 2024 candidate. Democrats, who most recently subverted Republican primaries by pushing candidates they hoped would lose in the general election, are just that devious.

I think they are, and for one reason.
They think DeSantis has a better chance in the general election against a democrat than Trump does.
Regardless of the fact that Trump would probably beat DeSantis in the primaries, they believe that 2020 showed that half the countries hate for Trump trumped half the country’s love for Trump.
What worries them is that they cannot drump up an equivalent level of DeSantis Derangement to win.
It was never about mean tweets.
It has always been about WIN at any cost for democrats.
