Cool, that’s fine. I’m just saying that it says the same kinds of things that the intensive studies did that were performed before the CoVid pandemic. Those were testing various mask efficiencies against SARS, you know, the same viral family as SARS-CoV-2.
If your little N95 mask is so great, then explain to me how my son, who wore his religiously got CoVid in May at his workplace. Everyone in that room wore masks, and some got CoVid, and others didn’t. They were all vaxxed and boosted because it was a work requirement.
If the N95 masks work, how did so many get CoVid?

We are running mid January high levels of flu calls right now. I’ve not seen this level of flu in my career in late November early December.
We had 45 minute waits to get patients a room at local hospitals a few weeks ago.

So masks aren't perfect protection. And they should never be thought of that way. They are unlikely to block all virus particles. Plus it's know covid can infect through the eyes as well.
But there were studies done with influenza that showed that the severity of illness that occurred was correlated with the initial inoculum. In other words, the more virus particles you breath in when exposed, the sicker you get.
The theory is that your system has more time to respond to only a few particles as opposed to being overwhelmed with a lot of particles.
I don't get any shots. Haven't had the flu since 1989, had covid once back in June - it was like having a very mild cold, haven't had shingles, haven't had pneumonia. My vaxxed and boosted wife has been much sicker since taking the needle, including getting covid last month. I took no special precautions while she had covid and did not get it.
So screw getting any shots, period. I'll let my immune system do its job unhindered by any injections of any kind.
I had a mild flu compared to the flu I had in 1974 but this still ranks top-five infectious illnesses I’ve had in my life I thought there was a possibility Thanksgiving night I could take a turn for the train station I was tempted to ask my wife to take me to the hospital every breath hurt but I got better

I take these three, and many others, never miss a dose, and have been sick three times since September 2021.
They aren’t magic.
But I also walk outside about 5 miles a day, never social distance and never, ever wear a mask unless absolutely compelled to (such as at a hospital).
I also eat well with plenty of eggs, sardines, berries, whole-fat yogurt and lots of meat.
I think it's the whole lifestyle, not just a few vitamins.

I can't emphasize enough that taking regular large doses of Vit D and Vit C are extremely helpful and then taking additional doses when you feel run down or that scratchy throat coming on....
I'm talking 6000iu of Vit D every day and 1000mg of vit C with extra doses if you do get run down....
I am sure there are lots of people that take much more than that.....
during the summer when I am outside a lot I do reduce my Vit D amount...
we have not been sick in this house....no vaxx, no flu, no real colds....the last time I was sick with some kind of "flu" was early Dec 2019 but I really think it was covid at the time....

You are right in that this is how the immune system works. Exposure to small amounts of viruses help us fight off future infections. If you do get sick, you are much better protected for the next time around.
I suppose if it makes you feel better and will actually go mingle with people versus staying home, you will at least be helping yourself by going out. If someone is too afraid and stays at home avoiding people, they don’t do themselves any service at all.
I think it’s fascinating that homeless people don’t get sick much, at least not from germs. They get sick because they do horrible things to their bodies with drugs and alcohol (which is also a drug). They don’t even bathe very often.
Doesn’t really matter if you believe that study or not.
Simple physics shows that the masks are pointless.
P.S. I like that you mentioned through the eyes. If we were really trying to protect ourselves, we would all be walking around in hazmat suits. At least, it’s nice that Fauci didn’t insist we start doing that.

Look at the flu cases and deaths for last year ... they went nearly to ZERO after millions the years before. These people cannot tell the dif between Flu and Covid, so everything that was flu got chalked up to Covid, because the HOSPITALS made money on every case (they get nothing for flu). Now the covid is about gone and there’s nothing left but FLU ... so the counting starts again. It’s not “up” it is where it has been all this time.
