The House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol will release its list of criminal referrals alongside its final report on Dec. 21, the panel’s chair told reporters Thursday.
“We will make that announcement on the 21st when we release the report,” said Chair Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.).
The panel is meeting this Sunday to hash out what referrals it may make to the Department of Justice (DOJ), where the ultimate decision rests over whether to pursue any charges for the activity related to the effort to block the transfer of power.
Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) told reporters that the panel is still weighing who should be included in the list of criminal referrals.
“We want to make sure no one slips through the cracks. We want to make sure that the key organizers and movers of this attack don’t escape the scrutiny of the justice system,” Raskin said.

Thereis something I can’t figure out. Since when does Congress issue criminal referrals?
I guess this explains why the Cheney skank and her boy, Zinger, lit a shuck for the tall grass. Haven’t heard jack sh*t out of either of them since THEY sold out America and turned the “red wave” to sh*t for the far-left bedmates.
“We want to make sure no one slips through the cracks. We want to make sure that the key organizers and movers of this attack don’t escape the scrutiny of the justice system,” Raskin said.

Who is Ray Epps?
The claim is, that sending other electors for the Electoral college was an attempt to block the transfer of power.
If they were never accepted, and the electoral college followed all the laws concerning the election, it’s doesn’t matter. If Congress broke the law, then the point is also mute. There is no standing, because there is no crime. It’s a thought police crime.
I fail to see how the law was broken here, because there was no illegal act ever committed as it pertains to ‘replacement electors’. The only illegal acts are by those who attacked individuals, or broke illegally into federal property, or instigated violence, or ignored Electoral college protocol.
Now all that may be the case, but since we are no longer a Constitutional Republic, thought crimes are probably more serious than actual crimes. That’s what Fascist do.
When the new House of Representatives takes control on January 3rd, will they, or can they undo what these bums have done???
Since when does Congress insist on indictments based on unchalleged testimony , no du rocess, of political partisan idiots?
Cheney was at the Reagan National Defense forum this month and gave her speech knocking President Trump. The audience practically gave her a medal of honor. She was even surprised at such a warm reception.
Sickening.
and here i thought criminal referrals were the provenance of actual members of law enforcement...
Jan 6 Committee = People’s Court
Twenty-six days to go.
They still need to impeach DJT for a third time and they’ll probably get enough Republicans in the Senate to convict him to prevent him from running.
The good news is that is more than enough time for one of their trials.
Not sure how much time they need to suspend the filibuster, pack he Supreme Court, grant blanket amnesty to illegal aliens, grant statehood to D.C. and Puerto Rico . . .
We can bet Donald Trump is at the top of the list.
Sure we can expect Comey and Mueller to be indicted for their treason.
Some people need to be pelted with very ripe bananas whenever they show their face in public.
So-called Americans are really into skanks, hos, sexual deviants, murderers, thieves, thugs and other assorted POS these days.
