How much do the batteries required to power a semi weigh? How much room are they going to take up? How much less freight are truckers going to be able to haul to not exceed weight limits?

This is just flat out insane, not only the logistical issues of charging, but everything else that comes into play? “Our” government wants us to starve to death, among other things.

It’s the charging stations - there is not enough charging areas for a fleet of trucks at any truck stop or terminal. Very few towns have enough power to supply a completely electric truck terminal.

Instead of 80,000 lbs of weight, they will bump that up to 90K. I am sure the roads can handle it.
