It was sad when they disappeared.
Denuded areas look ok, clean, but not natural.
We need to see more beavers. Women directly visible, otherwise hidden behind but shyly poking out.

You are correct. And California banned animal trapping a couple of years ago. They are getting over run with beaver and coyote because there is no control of the populations.
