Besides barring the manufacture or import of gas stoves, options include setting standards on emissions from the appliances, Trumka said.

Sounds like they have about 490 too many. As far as their dumb proposal is concerned, it's better to have a cleaner-burning stove than to ban them altogether, depriving Americans of yet another life choice.

And does anybody know if Trumka is related to the AFL-CIO leader?
