First Lady Jill Biden will be cheering on her hometown Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday in the NFC Championship game against the San Francisco 49ers, according to the White House.
Biden grew up in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, a Philadelphia suburb, and the president often references her allegiance to teams from the city.
Jill Biden made an appearance at an Eagles game against rival Dallas Cowboys earlier this season to raise cancer awareness along with the NFL’s and the American Cancer Society’s “Crucial Catch” initiative, aimed to promote early detection and risk reduction of cancer.

She would have been there when the two main attractions were the Naval Air Station and Willow Grove Park, and old-fashioned amusement park.
The park closed in 1970 when I was 15, and I don't remember ever going there (we lived on the Joisey side of Philly), but the good Dr. most likely enjoyed the rides.
Also, my father was an ET at the Philadelphia Naval Base, and would occasionally be sent out to Willow Grove on day trips to the air base. It closed about ten years ago, one of the effects of the base closing commission of the time.
It did not help the Philadelphia Phillies when she showed up at the World Series.
