Lawmakers are on a crash course over how to deal with the debt limit in the coming weeks, and it’s a collision that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) thinks Democrats will win.
Schumer has hammered House Republican for demanding spending cuts from Democrats and the White House in exchange for raising the debt limit, saying the GOP is “flirting with disaster.”
“The plan is to get our Republican colleagues in the House to understand they’re flirting with disaster and hurting the American people,” Schumer said in an interview with Politico. “And to let the American people understand that as well. And I think we’ll win.”

Of course they will, government employees with once again get an extra 2-4 weeks paid vacation, while the rest of us suckers go deeper into debt to fund this sh*tshow we call the government.
McCarthy should adjourn the House and tell Biden to call when the Trump Wall is Finished.

The odds are in their favor, it’s the HoR versus the Senate, White House, every local Democrat (and some Republicans), MSM, Hollywood, Antifa . . .
Fact is, from the Whitehouse web site, the cumulative sum total of yearly deficits from 1789 thru 2021 is $21 Trillions. The national debt now stands at $31 Trillions. This implies that we never have paid a dime of principle (see Grace Commission).
Of course he’s right, the Rupublicucks will roll over, as always.
