The GOP must stop being gracious winners: Boot Ilhan Omar from the House Foreign Affairs Committee. No more Marquess of Queensberry rules

A few days back, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) formally removed Rep. Adam Schiff and Rep. Eric Swalwell from the House Intelligence Committee.

This was the right move by McCarthy.

Both Schiff and Swalwell are slippery characters.

Swalwell had a long association or affair with a Chinese spy while Schiff's activity promoted the Steele dossier that led to the amplification of the Trump-Russia collusion hoax, and eventually the Mueller Probe.

Schiff reacted, like all Democrats do, by calling the GOP a party of white nationalists and anti-Semites.

McCarthy also plans to remove Rep. Ilhan Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee.

Omar is a known anti-Semite who also supports the notorious anti-Israel BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) movement. Omar also trivialized the 9-11 terror attacks by claiming ‘"some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties."

Omar does not deserve to be on the Foreign Affairs Committee.

House Democrats unanimously approved a list of committee assignments for their members which includes Omar on Foreign Affairs after she applied to stay on.

Removing Omar won’t be easy because it would require a majority of the full House to agree and a group of House Republicans is already opposing the move.

Let Nancy Mace and Victoria Spatz understand that if the shoe was on the other foot, Omar would spit on both of them and easily vote them out of existence.

This can of worms was opened by Pelosi. She was warned that this would set precedence and so it has.

We might get back to a more sensible committee assignments in the future but for now, democrats have got to learn that their actions have consequences.

Yeah, that. “Conservative” should never mean someone who pulls his punches, apologizes for victory, gives up after a defeat, and bitterly criticizes those who keep on fighting.

Also: “Conservative” should not mean someone who is always eager to be lied to and played for a fool.

But a lot of this stuff you can see comes from nicety-nice long-time religious conservatives who have allowed themselves to be lulled into submission. They have lots of $$$ but lack common sense.

They’ll say: “Oh, these all-ages drag queen shows! Where did this come from? It’s EVIL!” (and it is) but when you look at the history, the gaywads and organized Left have been jerking their chains and exploiting them, and ripping them off over multiple generations. (And they would rather die than admit it! It’s always going to be that the all-ages drag shows are the fault of masculine conservative types like poor old Rush, because he wasn’t nice enough. He made jokes, gloated in victory, and said mean things!)

If there were just political issues with Omar, then the two GOP congressional dissidents on this would be right. However, that’s only a minor part of the Omar story. There are huge national security issues with having her on any important Congressional committee. Then there is the strong possibly of immigration fraud and other criminal activity done by Omar before she came to Congress, which obviously needs to be investigated.
