Crimea is shaping up to be the battleground that will decide the Russia-Ukraine war

The war in Ukraine is poised to become even more violent this year with a major Russian offensive expected and more advanced Western-made weapons pouring in to bolster Ukrainian forces. Along these lines, NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg recently warned that the war has entered a "decisive phase."

This new stage of the war could bring the fight to a territory vital to Russia's military capabilities in Ukraine and cherished by Russian President Vladimir Putin: Crimea.

The Black Sea peninsula, which was invaded by Russian forces and illegally annexed by Putin in 2014, served as a launchpad for Russia's invasion last February and helped pave the way for Russian forces to occupy a significant chunk of southern Ukraine. Crimea continues to be a base of attack for Russian aircraft and warships striking Ukraine.

"The decisive terrain for this war is Crimea. The Ukrainian government knows that they cannot settle for Russia retaining control of Crimea," retired Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges, a former commander of US Army Europe, told Insider.

Really, this is idiocy.

The population of Crimea has to be exterminated in order to get rid of the Russians there, because they are Russians.

Is that what Nato is about, Genocide in Crimea?

Swear, delusions and wishful thinking permeates our MSM.

No one trained in warfare and with any understanding of the current military positions and capabilities would come to this conclusion. It’s for mass consumption, not real battlefield tactics. If this col. really believes it, maybe he should look at a map.

This is horrible. At this point, trying to reclaim Crimea is revanchism; it would make Ukraine no better than Russia. Seriously, how is reclaiming territory lost in 2014 that fundamentally different from reclaiming territory lost in 1991? If Ukraine has the right to claim Crimea, Russia has the right to claim Ukraine!

Don’t these idiot generals think Russia reads their idiocy? How better to rally ten million conscripts to the Russian cause!

Now, all of a sudden, they want Crimea, and are blurting it all over the media?

Sounds like a plan, - or maybe a bunch of clueless globaloids making $**t up as they go.

Crimea is shaping up to be the battleground that will decide the Russia-Ukraine-USA war

Please stop with the transparent double-speak that this is a Russia-Ukraine war.

The Slavic civil war would have lasted fifteen minutes without the hundreds of billions of US dollars flowing into the pockets of FJB and George Soros and Willard Romney and...

Reuters - Zelenskiy: Ukraine needs more weapons, faster

https://news.yahoo.com/zelenskiy-ukraine-needs-more-weapons-205144639.html

It’s because they’re winning. Winning armies always demand more weapons, faster.

Russia stole Crimea in 2014 and they will have to give it back.

While they’re at it they can also give back the territories they stole from Finland, Japan, Georgia, and Germany.

“It’s because they’re winning. Winning armies always demand more weapons, faster.”

This is true. The Allies in World War Two built and expended more weapons during the last year of the war than in all of the other years of the war combined.

If it would not be for the US most Ukrainians still would have a roof over their heads and sleep in their own beds and this war would be over by now. Probably the eastern portion of the Ukraine which has a large portion of ethnic Russians and was constantly assaulted and antagonized by radical groups would have been annexed by Russia and things eventually would have settled down. The only difference would be if Ukraine returns to Russian guidance as it has been previously for four hundred years would be somewhat less corruption and most of the radical elements would be wiped out.

The same goes for Europe if they had not jumped on the US bandwagon. The US purposely damaged the gas supply lines making sure that Europe in general and Germany in particular remains dependent on the US like a colony, just in case they may come to their senses and change their mind.

Those days when Russia had any ideas of expansion are long gone and over with and things of the past as Russia has more than enough and then some on its plate to take care of. All they want is a quiet neighborhood without NATO or CIA manipulation and intervention. Just like the US likes to keep their backyard free of any intruders, as expressed in the Monroe Doctrine. But the warmongers within the US government along with their associates and friends keep egging them on, knowing that a peaceful coexistence is bad for the production of war materials, especially the military industrial complex as well as the globalists, cranking out wartime supplies like there is no tomorrow and if they keep it up there may not be one. So, they keep stirring the pot until it will boil over and it isn’t too far from doing just that.

While we’re at it, Poland needs to return the German provinces it stole after WWII.

And the Ukraine needs to return Galicia to Poland.

Russia is responsible for both of those actions.

And thank you for the reminder that Russia stole territory from Poland.

Or maybe just nuke Kiev.
