LAKELAND, Fla. — Nine people were shot early this afternoon leaving two in critical condition, police said.
Lakeland police responded to the area of Iowa Avenue North and Plum St. around 3:40 p.m.
They arrived to find several people shot. Offical estimates indicate nine victims, with two considered to be in critical condition

I believe he stands down if it’s city jurisdiction and I saw a post Lakeland PD will give a live news conference at 7 on their Facebook... So they’re late.
Street view shows an older but neat and tidy residential area. Homes are a little sparse with lots of mature trees.

Very low volume on news conference but they recovered .223 and 9 mm casings. Dark, 4 door Nisan slowed as it drove through area, all 4 windows rolled down and shots fired out both sides into targeted males. Marijuana found at scene and a 10th victim arrived at hospital. Link in my post 11 above.
