Why else would the ChiComs be so interested in getting access to genetic testing results such as "23 and Me" and other genetic heritage sites ?
Your genome is for sale at some of the testing heritage sites, and your genome no longer belongs to just you once it goes public.
You voluntarily may give up some of your legal rights to privacy when you participate. Check the fine print.
Selective breeding of viruses ("gain of function") could lead to selective untraceable pandemics (bio-weapons) for certain specific populations.
