Probably my local hospital. I swear the woman who was in charge wanted more dead patients. I will say after fighting with her, she did her job and my dad lived.

There’s a case before SCOTUS right now regarding Harvard (and another school IIRC) discriminating against Asians. It seems to me that the decision on that case might impact this one.

I worked for years at a very famous hospital. While there I had frequent contact with two black doctors. One was a genuinely nice guy...very decent in every way. But I got the sense that he was nothing more than "average" in clinical skills,unlike others there. Certainly fit to practice medicine...but a man you'd expect to find in a rural area where an outstanding CV isn't expected.

The other one was excellent.

In fact, men are only 40% of US college students now, and falling. In the UK they are only 30%.

Women are covered under anti-discrimination laws and have benefited from affirmative action since it has existed. This despite the face that they are the majority of college and law school students.

I think the Military Academies problem is it changed the curriculum from an engineering to a humanities based education and did it mainly to include women.
