A white male student has sued six Texas medical schools that rejected him for admissions but allegedly admitted other students — namely students of color and women — who had lower MCAT scores.
The class-action lawsuit was filed Jan. 10 by the America First Legal Foundation’s Center for Legal Equality.

People are starting to fight back against the "woke" D.I.E. agenda. It's the only way to stop them from destroying every institution in our nation.

It is all about meeting expected distributions by race, sex, and sexual preferences. Merit is secondary.

I would never go to a Dr. who benefitted from affirmative action or DIE admission policies.

The military academies do it all the time.

I would never go to a Dr. who benefitted from affirmative action or DIE admission policies. The problem here is, "How would you know?"

I was just pointing out that conservative media paints all affirmative action as a benefit to minorities. It’s not true. Most affirmative action benefits white women who generally aren’t in the highest percentiles of scholastic tests.

I hate calling women "minorities" anyway regardless of expectations and such.
The bottom line is that our country has more women than men. By definition, men are the minorities.

It is all about meeting expected distributions by race, sex, and sexual preferences Not sure if that will be determined to be a "quota" system for acceptance. AA is OK, but "quotas" are not according to the SCOTUS judicial tap dance in the Bakke case of 1978

I agree. I think this trope of AA being a minority benefit obscures the real problem. We are sacrificing our best and brightest who are a minority.
I'm old enough to remember the days when academic departments discriminated against minorities and women. It wasn't good then and the new discrimination isn't good now.

Giving priority is illegal, wrong and unconstitutional. Any law that “permits” it is invalid and not binding.

I have a dream of a return to a time when doctors were educated based on their brains instead of the color of their skins.
I guess I am out of the mainstream, eh?

Well, there’s always the Archie Bunker approach: pick the doctor or lawyer with the “Jewish” surname and make sure it’s not a pretender Whoppi Goldberg.
