How long can it power the global electrical grid?

That's fine for an emergency, but not viable on a regular basis (e.g. every time the wind dies). Overuse as a battery will simply reduce the life of the vehicle.

What happens when the driver needs to go to work?
Is there a second gas powered vehicle to drive?

Not if you have a heat pump, electric stove, and electric water heater.
