President Joe Biden falsely claimed food prices are coming down after Tuesday’s inflation report revealed prices at the grocery store actually increased in January.
Delivering a Tuesday afternoon keynote address at the National Association of Counties, Biden falsely claimed inflation, including food prices, is coming down.
“Today’s report on inflation shows the good is that inflation in America is continuing to come down,” Biden claimed. “Food prices at the grocery store are coming down.”

We went to Costco an hour ago, food prices are NOT coming down, it is about a 50% increase overall from last year
The same people who tell us increased funding of a government program (but not as much as they requested) is a cut in funding, now tell us that an increase in inflation (but not as much of an increase as before) is a reduction in inflation.

The rate of increase is coming down. That type of complicated stuff is beyond President Brains-of-Mush.
Two years ago I paid one dollar for 16 ounces of generic sour cream. Today it was 2 dollars and a few cents. Name brand was just under 3 dollars. Gasoline prices have come down to just a mere one dollar more than when Trump left office.

That’s funny, I went to the store today picked up some stuff and the eggs were the same price as they were last week so that’s a lie, there was no coffee of the brand that I buy which was odd but they DID have coffee filters for my coffee gizmo which is also odd.
